Melanie Sage, PhD, MSW, LICSW
Melanie Sage, PhD, MSW, LICSW, is an Assistant Professor at the UB School of Social Work. Her research and scholarship areas include the use of technology in social work education and practice and the intersections of technology use and child welfare practice. Melanie taught Motivational Interviewing to Social Work students for six years, and built Motivational Interviewing into the foundational social work curriculum at her last appointment as BSW program director at University of North Dakota. She co-trains with Todd on Motivational Interviewing for various community agencies and education programs in the region.
