Started in 2002, the Children, Youth and Families Mental Health Evidence-Based Practice Project is a collaborative effort between the UB School of Social Work Office of Continuing Education and the NYS Office of Mental Health to provide evidence-based training and website resources to eligible agency staff in the 19 counties of WNY.
This project will assist eligible agencies to: increase public awareness, develop plans and implement recognized evidence-based practices for improving mental health services for children and their families.
Eligibility: Staff from agencies providers within the 19 counties of Western New York who provide NYS OMH funded services to children, adolescents, and their families. Note: The counties of Wayne, Seneca, Tompkins and Tioga are included in the Western Region. Staff in New York counties to the east of these are not eligible to participate.
This group is open to current UB School of Social Work faculty and staff. Members will be eligible for special discounts to certain programs.
