David M. Pratt, MSW, PhD
David M. Pratt, MSW, PhD, is in private practice and Director of the Mood Management Program at the WNY Psychotherapy Services in Amherst, NY. He has over 35 years of experience as a mental health professional working with children, adolescents and families. Dr. Pratt utilizes evidence-based, cognitive-behavioral and family therapy approaches in treatment. He specializes in the treatment of depression, self-harm and suicide prevention, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and disruptive behavioral disorders in youth. Dr. Pratt has conducted numerous trainings/workshops in cognitive-behavioral at local, state, national and international forums. Previously, Dr. Pratt was the Principal Psychologist at the WNY Children's Psychiatric Center, Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at UB and Adjunct Professor/Lecturer, UB Counseling, School and Educational Psychology department.
