Lisa Cox

Associate Director

The Institute on Trauma and Trauma-Informed Care

Lisa is currently the Associate Director of the Institute on Trauma and Trauma-Informed Care and an adjunct instructor in the School of Social Work at the University of Buffalo. A graduate of UB, she has over twenty years experience providing leadership and clinical services through her work in non-profit agencies in WNY and Baltimore, MD. Lisa is passionate about working with organizations to develop an understanding of the impact of trauma and strategies to enhance service delivery. In her role with ITTIC, she has trained educators, health-care workers, police officers and employees of government agencies on trauma-informed practices and workforce wellness.
