Our current times are filled with new demands that call for enhanced adaptability in and out of work. Ever-changing schedules, home and work obligations, partial or total virtual learning and or working, fear of illness, social isolation, grief and loss or just plain boredom or feeling like these uncertain times will never end. It may seem counterintuitive but in taking time to manage stress, both during times of stress and proactively, we can all respond more effectively to personal and professional challenges. It is an essential investment in order to be prepared for more challenging times.
This seminar invites participants to use an internal resource that is available to all: the breath. Learn the basics of mental wellness and how the human nervous system functions to better understand your own stress response. Participants will learn practices shown to soothe the nervous system and receive additional resources to continue your practice and support yourself and your community.
