Description

This workshop is an introduction to energy healing and how it can be integrated with counseling. You will receive an overview of energy healing and its relationship to emotional issues, as well as specific information on three techniques - Reiki, EFT, and Sound Healing with Tibetan Singing Bowls. Following an introduction to each technique, there will be a live demonstration as well as an opportunity to pose questions to myself as well as the client on the specifics of each treatment. We will conclude with a discussion of how these techniques can be used in your practice as well as requirements for practice.

  2. Identify specific aspects of three different healing techniques
  3. Compare and contrast three healing techniques
  4. Recognize the impact of energy healing on emotional issues
  5. Examine how energy healing can be integrated into your own practice

Peg Crawford LMHC, LLC


Peg Crawford, LMHC, has 40 years’ experience in counseling in Buffalo, NY.  She provides a unique approach to counseling by offering and teaching techniques that support the healing process in a holistic manner.  These techniques include Reiki, sound healing, Law of Attraction and Emotional Freedom Techniques (tapping). Peg has been a Reiki Master Teacher for over 12 years and is an EFT Intermediate Level Practitioner. When these healing and energy techniques are added to the counseling process, many people become empowered to change their life through daily practices that help alleviate physical, emotional and spiritual pain, and move more quickly toward desired goals. Peg teaches all levels of Reiki, including Reiki Master Teacher classes on a regular basis.  Previously, she was the PROS Supervisor at Mid-Erie Counseling and Treatment Services in Buffalo. 


Completion Requirements

This course requires you to view the entire course and pass a quiz at 80%. You may take the quiz up to 3 times. There is no partial credit for partial attendance.
