Dr. Latise Hairston, PhD


Dr. Latise Hairston, PhD, MS, PCC, is a global transformative leader who guides, empowers, and assists people in developing creative solutions to life’s challenges.

She has counseled and coached hundreds of individuals, leaders, and organizations in the government, non-profit, and corporate sectors, including one of the world’s largest hospitality companies. She designs, manages, and facilitates enterprise-wide innovative solutions around strategic planning, change management, and leadership.

Latise also specializes in creative problem solving, instructional design, diversity, equity and inclusion, training/facilitation, leadership, and organizational development. Additionally, she is an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Business, Management, and Leadership at Medaille College. Latise began her career working in various roles within child welfare, advocating for children and families.

Latise holds an M.S. in Counseling, M.S. in Creativity and Change Leadership, and a Ph.D. in Leadership and Policy (with a concentration in Organizational Development). She is a Certified Professional Coach, DISC Consultant, and FourSight facilitator, among other certifications. Latise has presented at numerous conferences and is a published researcher.

Working with organizations, Latise’s strategy for success is to establish a learning community, an environment of partnership and collaboration, and a willingness to take risks and learn from each other. Using a multitude of tools and techniques, she inspires and encourages individuals and teams to shift from a fixed mindset to a growth mindset.

When not working, Latise enjoys traveling the globe and trying new cuisines. She has a heart for people and the community, and she volunteers with the Restorative Justice Coalition in Buffalo, NY, where she resides.
