Expanding upon an anti-racist perspective in mental health treatment and practice, this workshop intends to guide current and future supervisors in principled and demonstrative anti-racist practices in supervision. Utilizing both a unique client and colleague perspective, this presentation will address the complexities of racial trauma experienced at multiple levels personally and professionally.

Danielle Hamner holds both a B. A. and an MSW from The University of Pittsburgh where she concentrated in Community & Social Administration. Danielle also holds a certification in Human Services Management and is trained in EMDR. Additionally, Danielle holds certificates in Integrated Somatic Trauma Therapy & Applied Polyvagal Therapy in Yoga. Earlier this year, Danielle was featured as a guest in an episode of UB’s inSocialWork Podcast series titled, “Racism & Mistreatment in the Mental Health Field: A Practitioner’s Voice”.

Live Online Completion Requirements
In order to receive a certificate of completion for this course participants must complete the following.
Please note all requirements can be found in your UBCE21 portal.
- Attend the full course. Zoom attendance is used to verify viewing requirements. Zoom can take up to 48 hours to confirm attendance.
- Document participation codes and respond to poll questions. Single letter participation codes will be displayed throughout the training. Participants must input the codes in the orange "Evaluation & Certificate" button. Participants must record at least 75% of the codes correctly and participate in at least 75% of the polls.
- After the training, complete the evaluation by clicking on the "Evaluation and Certificate" button for this course.
- The certificate of completion will be immediately generated in your account upon completion of all course requirements. Certificates may be downloaded, printed, or left in your account.
