Description

Course Format

Live interactive webinar: Participants will have the opportunity to engage in discussion by unmuting and directly asking questions or through the chat feature in Zoom.

This workshop is for therapists who are continuing their online practice in some way after pandemic restrictions have lifted. Online practice has its own treatment framework for therapy, including ethical and clinical aspects, that will be reviewed and discussed. In comparison to having to set up your practice online rather quickly when the pandemic started, this workshop will go over the details to solidify your online practice protocols and clinical aspects to consider.

***This is a follow up from the 3-part telehealth series held live in spring 2020 and now available for self-study. Taking this series is not required but available for anyone interested.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Describe how to set up an online treatment frame with clients.
  2. Identify best practices for online treatment protocols.
  3. Discuss 5 clinical aspects that differ with continued online therapy versus in person.
  4. Examine tools for online interventions.
